The suspect was arrested on Thursday in Paramus, police said.
Authorities have arrested a 51-year-old man from Lodi for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple children on numerous occasions, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Corey Hipscher was arrested Thursday after the Lodi Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit about the alleged sexual assault of a child, officials said. An investigation revealed Hipscher sexually assaulted several children under the age of 16, on multiple occasions in Lodi, the prosecutor said.
Hipscher is charged with aggravated sexual assault, attempted aggravated sexual assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of aggravated sexual contact, the prosecutor said.
Hipscher is being held in Bergen County Jail pending his first court appearance, officials said. No attorney information for Hipscher was immediately available.
