North Korean state media say U.S. soldier Travis King, who ran across the border in July, will be expelled from the country.

two months earlier, the Reuters news agency said, citing North Korea's state-run media. North Korea's KCNA television network said King had confessed to illegally entering the country. King, a Private 2nd Class in the U.S. Army, entered North Korea while taking part in a guided tour of a border village, which he joined after absconding from an airport in Seoul, South Korea, where he was supposed to have boarded a flight back to the U.S.
