An arctic front moved through North Texas on Wednesday and sent temperatures into the 20s by Thursday morning.The rain and snow from yesterday is gone, but the cold air and wind will remain in place today. The temperature will struggle to climb into the middle 40s today. A strong northwest wind will contribute to the chill.

Sunshine will be back in full force Thursday and Friday, along with some milder air. Highs will briefly return to the lower 60s Friday and Saturday. A slight chance of rain arrives Saturday. A better chance of rain is in the forecast early next week. As we head into February, it looks like a chilly pattern will take hold.: Breezy and cold with decreasing clouds late in the day. High: 48.
