Here are five pumpkin patches you can visit in Northamptonshire this October
With summer behind us and the nights drawing in, attention will now turn to what activities families can enjoy this autumn. Pumpkin picking is a firm favourite and Northamptonshire farmers have been perfecting the harvest favourite all year.
Brand new for 2023 is their vegetable cannon and returning is their Cynthia Spencer tombola with a chance to win all your pumpkins. They also have refreshments for you to enjoy such as baked potatoes, toasted sandwiches and crepes.You have to book a ticket to enter, starting at £3.50. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead. Head over to their website where you can book to visit. You can also enjoy a trailer ride around the spooky sunflower field and apple orchards - just book when you arrive. Parking for one car is £2.50 and all the occupants get in for free.West Lodge Farm Park Where: Back Lane, Desborough, Kettering, NN14 2SHTickets are now available to buy for West Lodge Farm Park’s Pumpkin Festival and Halloween Fun. From October 14, you can enjoy entry to the pumpkin patch to choose your pumpkin and the Carving Barn where you can even get it carved for you.
