A Northamptonshire slimmer has lost five stone and will now take on the London Marathon. Tarryn Mote, 32, said her confidence was at an all-time low in January 2018 and decided to do something about it.
“I wasn’t very active before losing weight and leisurely Sunday walks were the extent of my exercise regime. I decided to embrace Slimming World’s activity programme, Body Magic, and since then I’ve incorporated new ways to get my body moving on a daily basis. Slimming World Consultant Sue Shone runs weekly group sessions in Northamptonshire and said: “Tarryn is a real inspiration to us all and we are so proud of her. When she first came through the door she wanted to lose weight – however, she had no idea what a huge transformation was about to begin and certainly no idea that she would one day be running the London Marathon, it’s incredible.
Between them, they have lost more than 79st with the runners raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK, Cancer Research UK, and the Irish Cancer Society, Slimming World’s official charity partners.
