Police constable P1889 Neil Irving is the subject of the tribunal
A Northamptonshire Police officer faces a hearing over accusations he intended to run "an OnlyFans account". , set to take place next Tuesday and Wednesday .
The gross misconduct hearing alledges that PC Irving "breached the standards of professional behaviour in respect of his compliance with the Northamptonshire Police Business interests policy" by opening an online account with the website ‘OnlyFans’. It is alleged that he was running the account between July and December last year. According to Northamptonshire Police documents, he had the objective of uploading "photos and videos of sexual content".
The purpose of so doing would be that online users would access the content in return for paying a subscription to this account. It is considered a "business interest" within the relevant definition of the policy.The officer failed to seek permission in accordance with the policy to operate the business interest, according to the force. Twelve seats will be available for members of the public wishing to attend the hearing. It will start at 10am on Tuesday, September 19.
