Senior Showcase will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3 at the Northbrook Senior Center, located inside the Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Ave.
Seniors and their families are invited to attend an open house on Nov. 3 to learn about the programs and activities offered by the Northbrook Park District’s Senior Center. According to a news release, the Senior Showcase will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3 at the Senior Center, which is located inside the Leisure Center at 3323 Walters Ave.
The Senior Center offers memberships at $30 annually for Northbrook residents and $45 annually for nonresidents and those who live in unincorporated Northbrook, according to the release. Memberships are not required for many activities. However, members receive discounts on events and programs, and can attend dozens of free drop-in programs offered each week, including pickleball, card games, crafting, knitting and social hour.
