A Northern Territory couple have had the shock of their lives when they found a crocodile in their laundry. Nhulunbuy couple Vince Nathan and Rayleen George discovered the home-invading reptile when they were woken by disturbance in their home about 1.30am on December 10.

Crocodile found inside family home. “The dogs were barking, and we got up thinking there was someone on the property,” Nathan said. “I let the dogs out, they went to the laundry, and they were barking and carrying on.” Nathan said he stepped out to the path leading to the laundry to see what was causing the commotion when he saw the 1m-long crocodile. “I said ‘Ray, Ray! Quick get up! There’s a croc outside’.
