How prepared is Doohan for F1 racing? | 06:23As the Formula 1 world edges closer to the final race of the 2024 season, Red Bull have officially put a line through one rival driver to join their team next year.
Red Bull Racing Principal Christian Horner has confirmed that young gun Franco Colapinto will not join his team as a driver in 2025, as questions grow over the future of Sergio Pérez. It now looks like just two options remain for Red Bull, should they choose to not pursue with Pérez; who is contracted for 2025 with the team.
“You’re always keeping your eye on what the market is in all teams... but we have the strength and depth in the junior programme,” Horner added.
