Nottingham Forest had to settle for a point in a frustrating 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the City Ground. Looking for a repeat of their last home game, when Fulham were toppled, the Reds started with plenty of intent. Ryan Yates had a few sniffs of goal, while Callum Hudson-Odoi and Gio Reyna both fired off target amid a positive opening 20 minutes. Nevertheless, Wolves almost made Forest pay for those missed opportunities.
With 40 minutes gone, it was 1-0 to the visitors when Matheus Cunha twisted and turned past Andrew Omobamidele and Ryan Yates. But Gibbs-White equalised on the stroke of half-time when he headed in a Reyna corner. Forest then turned the game around little more than 10 minutes after the break. Gibbs-White charged forward before being challenged in the area, but the ball broke for Danilo to make it 2-1. The lead did not last long, though.
