The tennis star releases a six-panel post on his Instagram page, saying he wanted to 'address the continuing misinformation' about his activity following a positive COVID test in December.

Documents released as part of court proceedings earlier this week showed Djokovic declared he had not travelled in the previous fortnight, but there was evidence he had travelled to Spain."This was a human error and certainly not deliberate," Djokovic said."Today, my team has provided additional information to the Australian Government to clarify this matter.

The next day, on 18 December I was at my tennis centre in Belgrade to fulfil a longstanding commitment for a L'Equipe interview and photoshoot. I cancelled all other events except for the L'Equipe interview.

While I went home after the interview to isolate for the required period, on reflection, this was an error of judgement and I accept that I should have rescheduled this commitment.
