One of New South Wales' most wanted fugitives has been found hiding in a boat in Darwin, bringing to close a nation-wide manhunt.
Mark Horne, 32, was found by Australian Border Force officers as they searched a vessel which had attempted to sail from Cullen Bay Marina in Darwin late on Wednesday afternoon.He was wanted for breach of bail after he allegedly cut off his ankle bracelet and fled Sydney in October 2022.

Picture: Northern Territory Police Force His last known location was at Coorabin Pl in Riverwood at 6.15am on October 21 last year where he entered a car and headed westbound on the M5 before allegedly tearing off his ankle bracelet.
Australian Federal Police Commander Central Command Erica Merrin said the arrest of Horne proved “organised crime has no borders” and praised the joint task force for their quick response.
