Mick Potter happy to get Phil Gould hands-on to revive Canterbury Bulldogs | dan_walsh64
Interim Bulldogs coach Mick Potter plans to call on Phil Gould’s footballing expertise regularly as he concedes players’ futures are on the line at Belmore.
While NSW Origin flyer Josh Addo-Carr is out of the 15th v 16th clash with Potter’s old Wests Tigers side, fellow big names Matt Burton and Luke Thompson trained on Thursday and are expected to play afterPotter only arrived at Bulldogs HQ on Wednesday and has largely left preparations to assistants David Furner and Craig Sandercock, adding that Gould had contributed at training as well.
“My input this week has been minimal. But the assistant coaches and Gus [Gould] have done as great job and they’ve prepared them very well,” Potter said after Thursday’s captain’s run.
