An image of the South Sydney Rabbitohs superstar began circulating on Monday, with the club scrambling to determine its authenticity.
The NRL integrity unit has been made aware of a photo of Rabbitohs superstar Latrell Mitchell leaning over a table near what appears to be a white substance.
When contacted on Monday, South Sydney officials said they were trying to determine the veracity of the photo. Mitchell adviser, former manager and boxing promoter Matt Rose, was in America and said he hadn’t seen the image yet.In a statement, the Rabbitohs said: The South Sydney Rabbitohs have been made aware of a photograph circulating through social media of Latrell Mitchell following a personal appearance in Dubbo on the weekend.
Mitchell attended a coaching clinic at Dubbo on the weekend as he continues to recover from a foot injury which has likely ended his season.
