In a shock announcement, the NRL has confirmed it is considering a left-field venue for the biggest game on the rugby league calendar.
reports NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo is seriously considering the idea of holding the grand final in New Zealand.
The second match of the series will also be played at Eden Park this Saturday with a large crowd again expected. The sight of a near-capacity crowd at Auckland’s Eden Park has given the NRL plenty of “food for thought”. “But we genuinely can’t answer where it will be played until we have a clearer picture of the infection rates in each market and whichever government’s relevant policy at the time.”Source:News Corp Australia
