But for a team widely tipped to win the title this year, you can’t overstate how important the next fortnight is for Brisbane, who have lost their mojo with a glut of injuries. They do get a chance to expose a Panthers side without Cleary, though, and exorcise a few of those demons from the grand final heartbreak of 2023.Hear that? That’s the smell of a grand final rematch. Broncos v Panthers, the game everyone should be talking but not many seem to have been during another mad week in the NRL.
