North Queensland Cowboys star Valentine Holmes has been hit with a $25,000 fine and a one-match suspension for posting a photo of himself holding a bag of white power.
The 28-year-old received a notice from the NRL alleging a breach of its code of conduct following an investigation into the September 10 social media post.

The club told SkyNews.com.au it would not discuss its internal procedures but that it was an ongoing matter.
He also missed out on selection in the Prime Minister’s XIII, with Meninga and Anthony Albanese deciding to leave him out while he was under investigation from the NRL.
