New South Wales and Victoria have reported a combined 74 COVID-19 deaths in the latest reporting period.

NSW recorded 35 deaths, while 2,737 are in hospital and 189 in ICU. That's a slight rise from the 2,722 hospitalisations and 181 patients in ICU reported on Thursday.There were 39 deaths reported in Victoria, with the state recording 988 hospitalisations and 114 patients in ICU. That's down from the 1,057 hospitalisations and 117 ICU patients from the previous day.
