Health minister Brad Hazzard says modelling shows the state will see a sharp rise in coming weeks and urges more people to get their booster shot

The NSW health minister, Brad Hazzard, warned preliminary data from the University of NSW modelling suggested Covid-19 cases would double within the next four to six weeks.

“Anybody who has been watching the numbers in the last few days would notice we’ve seen an increase in apparent cases.
