The man set to become the next NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey says he has been “humbled” by Labor’s resounding result on election night.
Labor MP Daniel Mookhey arrives at the Labor Party reception at the Novotel Hotel in Brighton-Le-Sands.When asked at what point in the election campaign he started to believe the Opposition had clinched victory, he was frank: “About 20 minutes ago,” he said. The Opposition’s assiduous treasury spokesman has been regarded throughout the campaign and Labor’s stint in opposition as one of the biggest talents in Minns’ team.
