Some NSW communities could be isolated for weeks, even months, the SES warns, from slow to recede floodwaters and landslides as more than 80,000 residents remain under evacuation orders and warnings.

There are 108 evacuation orders covering some 57,000 people and another 56 evacuation warnings for another 27,000 residents. Sullivan advised people isolated to stay put for now and contact NSW SES if they needed assistance with getting in our out, or obtaining supplies.
