New South Wales opposition leader Chris Minns has unveiled an eight-point plan to reform gambling across the state.

An elected NSW Labor government will slash the number of pokies machines, ban political donations from clubs with pokies and enforce a mandatory cashless gaming trial.

AHA director of Liquor and Policing John Green discusses the impact of trailing of 500 pokies machines in New South Wales. “The important thing is that now we have a trial that will be properly evaluated,” Mr Green told Sky News Australia. “There might be a significant on pubs and clubs and staff in venues so lets do the trial, lets evaluate it and then make some evidence-based decisions.”
