Liberal MP Tanya Davies has criticised her government at an anti-vax rally in Sydney over its vaccination mandate policy, saying Premier Dominic Perrottet must return freedoms to NSW.
The member for Mulgoa, who was promoted to parliamentary secretary under Mr Perrottet’s most recent cabinet reshuffle, addressed the crowd of several hundred on Macquarie Street on Tuesday. “That’s up to the Premier. The former premier said that we are a democracy and everyone is entitled to voice their opinion and their concerns and their issues,” she said., as she has a medical exemption. She said she took a rapid antigen test each parliamentary sitting day and complied with all other COVID-19 safety requirements.
