NSW is set to unveil ambitious plans to drastically cut the amount of plastic and food scraps that end up in landfill by 2025.
Changes would be rolled out from next year
Plastics such as single-use lightweight bags, cotton buds, straws and stirrers will be phased out, and households will have to separate their food and organic waste into green bins.
