Supercars champion Brodie Kostecki says an engineer for his team, Erebus Motorsport, has been hospitalised after celebrating the crew's Bathurst 1000 victory.
A crew member of Erebus Motorsport has been allegedly assault while out celebrating the team's victory in Sunday's Bathurst 1000 .
In an interview with the Seven Network on Monday morning, Kostecki said a crew member was assaulted while out celebrating the win overnight. A spokesperson for the Chifley Police District told ABC Sport an investigation into an alleged incident was underway following a crew member of a Supercars team making a complaint to police.Police said 522 infringements were issued and 12 people were charged for a variety of offences.
