An arrest warrant was issued for Anthony Karam, 27, who "has failed to isolate as directed by the Public Health Order".
Despite numerous attempts by officers to find him, "he has not been located", NSW Police said on Friday night.NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant made a formal statement warning the public about Mr Karam. He "has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and is infectious", Dr Chant said in the statement released by police.Police said anyone who sees Mr Karam should "call Triple Zero immediately".NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant provides an update on the latest COVID-19 developments.
He is described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, with an olive complexion, about 170cm tall and of a thin build.Police said he was known to frequent the areas of Greenacre, Wentworth Point and Parramatta.
