A drug syndicate has been dismantled after a series of dawn raids by NSW Police, as a crackdown on organised criminal networks in Sydney's southwest continues. 7NEWS
Dozens of people have been arrested and taken to police stations where they are expected to be charged.In July last year, Strike Force Sugarcane was created to investigate an alleged organised criminal network operating in Sydney's southwest.
Investigators believe the syndicate targeted in the raids controlled a distribution chain for illegal and prescription drugs, importing them into the country and selling them on the street.
