The NSW government's number one focus has shifted to saving lives amid the floods crisis with the Premier conceding there's a possibility of further deaths.
Mr Perrottet's comments come as another body was found in a Lismore home on Wednesday taking the state’s death toll to four.
“Please continue to follow the instructions of our state emergency services,” he told reporters on Wednesday. Thousands of residents across NSW have been rescued from their homes by SES volunteers. “Don’t have your past experience with floods inform your current position when those orders are made. Those orders are there to keep you and your family safe.” The floods crisis across the state has left 17 council areas being declared “natural disaster zones”.
