NSW Premier Chris Minns says Sydney’s urban density growth needs to be “rebalanced.”
He emphasised the importance of aligning this growth with metro and heavy rail transport routes across the city.
The move is aimed at accommodating increased immigration over the next two years without unnecessary sprawl, particularly to the western fringe of Sydney, and ensuring the infrastructure is in place to support the population increase.
