Picture: NewsWire / Gaye Gerard The Premier told 2GB Radio earlier on Tuesday: “It's at least $5 million in 2024, but that doesn't include overtime or sunk costs.”There was also a candlelight vigil – attended by less than 1,000 people – to commemorate October 7 Hamas attacks on Labor Day Monday which required a police presence.
“I'm not calling for an end to them . Of course, if there's union rallies, if there's protests on international events, if there's marches on international events, they should take place," he said.
