NSW reported 207 new local coronavirus cases on Monday, at least 72 of whom were in the community while infectious.
Dr Chant said a COVID-19 outbreak at Wyoming aged care facility at Summer Hill, in Sydney’s inner west, had grown to 18 residents and two staff. The new figures mean six additional residents have tested positive overnight.“It is a salient lesson; I urge anyone in aged care to take up vaccination,” Dr Chant said.The Premier urged all Sydneysiders to come forward to get vaccinated, adding that younger adults were the government’s particular focus.
