NSW has recorded one new locally-transmitted case of COVID-19, with the cluster in southwest Sydney's Oran Park growing to 19.

The state recorded five new virus cases in total in the 24 hours to 8pm on Saturday, with four in returned travellers in hotel quarantine. Almost 13,000 tests were performed.

All staff and children who attended the centre between 2 October and Tuesday have been told to get tested and self-isolate for a fortnight.Health officials on Saturday night issued alerts for people who were at the following venues to get tested if they developed symptoms and to isolate until a negative test was received:The 1500 United Cinema, Narellan Town Centre on early Saturday afternoon, 10 OctoberWoolworths Oran Park on Monday, 12 October, 6.40-6.55pm.

NSW recorded seven new cases of COVID-19 - including five local cases - in the preceding 24 hours, with all locally-acquired cases connected to Oran Park. This weekend has also ushered in eased restrictions for NSW outdoor venues, with up to 500 people allowed to attend open-air concerts so long as they stay seated and four metres apart.
