Health authorities in NSW confirm one new locally acquired COVID-19 case which has been linked to a previous case. There were five cases in overseas travellers in hotel quarantine also recorded.

Health authorities in NSW have recorded one new locally acquired COVID-19 case in the last 24 hours.These cases are linked to two other cases which are still under investigation.

There were also five positive cases among overseas travellers in hotel quarantine confirmed yesterday.Authorities have continued their plea for increased testing since multiple clusters broke out in Sydney last week."We continue to urge people to come forward ... this is important throughout the state but particularly in Western and South Western Sydney," he said.
