From 5.00pm today millions of people in NSW will be subject to even tighter COVID-19 restrictions around exercising, shopping and funerals. Here's what you can and can't do.

If you have a partner who doesn't live with you, you are still permitted to visit them.

But chief health officer Kerry Chant said the rule around "no browsing" is supposed to send a message. "People might need to get bedding, heaters, blankets, a broken fridge, these are things that are essential."The same restrictions apply for all parts of NSW that are outside Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Shellharbour and Wollongong.
