Detectives from the Major Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the incident that occurred on Darwin's main arterial road on Friday night.
A 37-year-old man has died after being hit by a vehicle on the Stuart Highway in Darwin on Friday night, NT Police say.NT Police received reports of the crash about 9:30pm Friday nightNT Police said it received a report of the crash at The Narrows at about 9:30pm.
The occupants of the vehicle remained at the scene, and the driver tested negative to alcohol and drugs, NT Police said.According to NT Police's road toll website there have been 21 fatal crashes on Northern Territory roads in 2020.There were 35 roads deaths on NT roads in 2019.
