One of Australia’s top doctors said Victoria still has too many mystery virus cases, warning the number could impact plans to ease restrictions.

“Whenever there is a mystery case, there is at least one other person who gave it to them. On average that person will have two or three close contacts.” “When you make your judgment off data that can never be a complete data set, because not everyone gets tested, that givers you a better sense that is an accurate reflection.”Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews hinted that regional Victoria could be close to having no mystery coronavirus cases.
“We will be here tomorrow and hopefully there will be no mystery cases in the data I report tomorrow and hopefully we can have more to say,” he said, adding any easing of restrictions would come with short notice.
