Patients were 'at risk'
A care home has been slammed by inspectors for receiving an 'inadequate' rating in its latest inspection.

The report also notes an issue with staffing and recruitment, as the inspector noted "unsafe recruitment processes".
This isn't the first 'Inadequate' rating that the home has received. In September 2022, Willow Lodge was inspected by the CQC and also given the low rating, with the report at the time stating that some aspects of the home were "not fit for purpose" as medicines were stored improperly and rooms were unclean.
This explains that "although there was a good-sized conservatory", it was "not fit for purpose, with some maintenance and updates of the environment required." As a result, inspectors noted that only the dining room could be used as a communal area. Following this, in terms of responsiveness - the home also received a 'Requires Improvement' rating in this area too. In the report, the CQC state that people "were not supported to follow their interests or take part in activities either inside or outside of the home on a regular basis. A relative said: "I am not sure there are any activities now, I have not seen any." Another relative said: "There is not a lot to stimulate her, there are no activities.
