Police are hunting for two suspects accused of repeatedly stabbing and slashing a straphanger during a skirmish at the Union Square subway station over the weekend. The NYPD released surveillance video and a screenshot showing at least one of the alleged attackers wanted in connection to the bloody incident near the L train platform at the 14th Street-Union Square Station around 1:45 a.m. Sunday.
The victim, a 28-year-old man, got into a fight with two strangers who stabbed and slashed him multiple times all over his body with a “cutting instrument,” according to the police.The victim managed to make his way up the subway stairs to call for help, after which he was brought to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Bellevue in stable condition.
Police are looking for this man who is suspected of taking part in a vicious stabbing that injured a 28-year-old subway commuter Sunday.The bloody attack took place near the L train platform at the Union Square station before 2 a.m.Video released by the NYPD late Sunday as part of the ongoing search for the suspects shows one of them, a man wearing a grey hoodie, a dark-colored New York Yankees ball cap, shorts and white sneakers, going down a flight of stairs at the Union Square station.
