New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced she would like to see issues around Australia’s state and territory border controls be resolved before allowing travel between the two countries.

The Morrison government has responded saying they did not believe it was necessary for all interstate borders to be reopened before a trans-Tasman bubble could be established.
