The victim, Mitchell Monroe, appeared to be following a truck on the freeway minutes before he was shot.
OAKLAND — A city resident has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the recent shooting death of a 27-year-old Antioch man, court records show.
Monroe, a father of two girls aged 6 and 1, was shot and killed shortly before 4 a.m. near the Interstate 580 Keller Avenue exit. Police say that there is evidence Monroe may have been following his suspected killer on the freeway, but authorities haven’t said exactly what led to the fatal shooting.
