” measures, the Oakland Education Association entered its fifth day on the picket lines Wednesday, and planned to rally outside a regularly scheduled board meeting in the evening as its fiery strike against the Oakland Unified School District continued. Teachers, parents, students and other school staff began picketing once again outside various Oakland Unified schools at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday; the end of the day would mark one full school week without regular classes.
