An OAP was 'seriously' assaulted on Glasgow's city centre last weekend.
The attack, which involved a 67-year-old man, took place on Buchanan Street at the junction with Argyle Street on Sunday, September 3.
The man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a result of the incident, which occurred at around 4.55pm. Following the assault on the city's style mile, which is usually brimming with shoppers and families, cops are now hoping to catch the suspect in question.He was wearing a green t-shirt at the time of the attack.
Detective Constable Matthew McCann of City Centre Police Station said:"This is a busy area and as our enquiries continue we would appeal to anyone who witnessed this serious assault take place, or anyone with personal footage to contact us."Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111."
