A U.S. official says the Saudi student who fatally shot three people at a naval base had hosted a dinner party the night before to watch videos of mass shootings.
11 people were shot in Friday’s attack, four of whom died, including the shooter.
During a news conference Friday night, the FBI declined to release the shooter’s identity and wouldn’t comment on his possible motivations. A national security expert from the Heritage Foundation warned against making an immediate link to terrorism.
