Jason Lyle Conrad escaped from authorities Tuesday morning while he was being taken to a doctor's appointment.
The Summit County sheriff's office issued an alert May 30 for escaped inmate Jason Lyle Conrad.CLEVELAND, Ohio – Summit County sheriff’s deputies are searching for an inmate after he escaped from officers Tuesday morning.
Deputies were transporting Jason Lyle Conrad to Summa Health, 1 Park West Drive, in Akron for a doctor’s appointment at about 8 a.m. when he escaped. Conrad was handcuffed and in a boot for a previous injury, according to the sheriff’s office.Officers from Akron, Fairlawn and Copley, as well as Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers, are assisting in the search for Conrad, who has charges of willfully fleeing, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs and a parole violation.
