Following a recent PEGI rating, the classic Resident Evil trilogy has now been released on PC for the first time since the 90s.
Last week, a mysterious PEGI rating for a PC port of the original 1996 Resident Evil game appeared and since then players have been wondering where this would lead. We don’t need to wonder anymore as it has been confirmed that a Resident Evil trilogy collection is coming to PC, and you can buy the first entry in the series right now. The classic Resident Evil trilogy will see its release on GOG, the gaming storefront owned by CD Projekt Red with its main selling point being no DRM protection.
Issue-free game exit and task switching. Full support for modern controllers with optimal button binding regardless of the hardware and wireless mode. Players that have been using the 90s versions of the Resident Evil games may not feel much need to purchase this collection, but it will make it much more accessible for those that don’t want to apply patches and do the necessary workarounds to get the old versions working. Each game will cost £8.
