The state’s 11 casinos and racinos took in $196.8 million in January, according to reports from Ohio’s Casino and Lottery Commissions. It surpasses the $171.2 million record set in 2022.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Ohio’s racinos and casinos broke a record for gambling revenue in January, and that’s even before you start counting sports betting that started Jan. 1.
The four casinos, which can offer slot machines and table games like blackjack, brought in $86.1 million, up from the $75.6 made last January. The state’s seven racinos, which can only offer slot machines, brought in $110.8 million, up from $95.6 million. Cleveland’s JACK Casino had $23 million in revenue from table games and slots in January. Its new sportsbook ended up with $270,000 in revenue. This trend was similar across the state.
