Kayin Lee, a four-star cornerback from suburban Atlanta, flipped his commitment from Ohio Sate to Auburn as the early signing period began Wednesday.

The Buckeyes went through the first morning of the early signing period without receiving a letter of intent from Lee. When coach Ryan Day stepped in front of a room of reporters for a news conference at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, Lee had remained one of only two unsigned commits along with four-star safety Jayden Bonsu. By the time Day addressed the final questions, Lee was bound for another program.
Lee is the 209th overall prospect in this class and 25th-best cornerback, according to the composite rankings compiled by 247Sports. He had previously been committed to Georgia before de-committing in February after secondary coach Jahmile Addae left for Miami.between Calvin Simpson-Hunt, a top-100 prospect from Waxahachie, Texas, and Jermaine Mathews, a top-150 prospect from Cincinnati.
