Kenyatta Jackson is the third Ohio State freshman of the day to shed his black stripe.
The four-star prospect and No. 98 player in the 2022 class is the first member of Larry Johnson's defensive line to earn the honor since the start of fall camp, and the first freshman defensive lineman to do so since Caden Curry in April.
A 6-foot-5, 235-pound pass rusher and native of Hollywood, Florida, Jackson is the third of the Buckeyes' summer enrollees to lose their black stripe since entering the program in June. Kaleb Brown and Hayden were the first two. Jackson is the fourth Buckeye overall to lose his black stripe Saturday, as second-year walk-on wideout Joop Mitchell garnered the distinction as well.
