COLUMBUS, Ohio — By the second half of Ohio State’s thrilling win over Notre Dame almost two weeks ago, the Irish offensive line had slowly begun to shift momentum in their favor.
And, according to Ohio State linebacker Steele Chambers, a large amount of the blame, in terms of Notre Dame’s offensive success, can be placed on the linebackers. “Our eyes were just everywhere,” Chambers said. “We were just looking all over the place. We’ve got to be a lot more laser-focused on what we’re looking at, and know what our keys are.”Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa and the Terrapins’ offense runs a bevy of RPO looks, a type of offense that puts an inordinate amount of stress on a defense’s linebackers.
