Ohio State running backs coach Tony Alford has been promoted to run game coordinator.
After seven seasons with the Buckeyes, Ohio State's running backs coach is getting some added responsibilities as Alford has been named the team's run game coordinator in addition to his previous duties.
Following the 2021 regular season, Alford had a chance to leave Ohio State to join Brian Kelly's new staff at LSU but chose to remain with the Buckeyes, telling"I've got great kids that I have so much respect and admiration for. I hope that they believe that I give them as much as they give me.
